Curlers from the Burlington Golf and Country Club will be raising money as they attempt to set a world record for the longest continuous curling game this weekend.
The March 12-14 shot at the record will commemorate the 30th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. The current record stands at 50 hours, three minutes, set at the Nipigon Curling Club in March 2009
Donations can be made by going to www.terryfox.org and clicking on the "Burlington Marathon" icon.
