
The Stoney Creek Lions Club is holding the 11th Annual Trout Derby Saturday, May 10 at Fifty Point Trout Pond. Registration is at 6:30 a.m.; derby, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. No fishing licence required for pond.
Adults, $8; children 12 and under, $3. Win a hand held GPS, rod and reel with tackle box and lures, donated by Grimsby Tackle. Register at the park.
Bonus $10,000 tagged fish. Sponsored by Eveley International Corp.
Net proceeds will be donated to Camp Trillium to help kids with cancer. Prizes and trophies awarded. Complete camping package raffle sponsored by Goldbook.ca and Tumblehome and Eureka. Tickets, $5 each or three for $10.
