Crisis line help needed
News
Jul 29, 2010
If you are a woman who would like to help survivors of sexual violence, consider becoming a crisis line volunteer. Once trained, you volunteer from home. Screening will take place in August for the next training programme, beginning Sept. 1. This 16-week programme will be held on Wednesday evenings. As part of SACHA’s work against racism and other oppressions, it strives to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Women who are First Nations, Métis, immigrant, refugee, lesbian, bisexual; women from racialized communities, women with disabilities, and trans women are encouraged to apply. Contact Miriam at 905-525-4573 ext. 222 or clvol@sacha.ca
