Jul 29, 2010
Hamilton Police Service members have organized a collection to assist earthquake victims in Haiti. Police are asking the public to participate by donating clothing, along with pots and pans.
The emphasis of the collection is on infant, youth and teen clothing. The situation in Haiti continues to be dire and any and all donations will be graciously accepted.
The collection point is Zellers County Fair Plaza at Mohawk Road East and Upper Sherman. Donations should be placed in the P. O. D. S. container on the southeast corner of the Zellers parking lot. The container is marked Haiti Donations and will be open from 6 a. m. to 9 p. m. daily, until Aug. 3.
For inquiries or requests for assistance with large donations, please contact Constable Harold Trafford at H.Trafford@Hamiltonpolice.on.ca
