Oct. 23, 2006 Eramosa Karst property is transferred to the Hamilton Conservation Authority.
Nov. 6, 2006 Heritage Green Community Trust, formerly Taro Community Trust, donates $1.5 million for the development and some operational costs of the Eramosa Karst Conservation Area.
June 20, 2008 Eramosa Karst Conservation Area is officially opened to the public in celebration of the HCA’s 50th anniversary.
July 2009 HCA is successful in its grant application to receive $609,680 in funding through the Recreational Infrastructure Canada program in Ontario and Recreation Ontario for construction of its portion of the East Mountain Trail Loop and energy-efficient washroom facilities located along the trail in the Eramosa Karst Conservation Area.
