Wiggle on down to the Hamilton Children's Museum on Wednesdays

The Wednesday Wigglers workshop program is back at the Hamilton Children's Museum, every Wednesday from September to May.

Wednesday Wigglers is a one-hour drop in program with three start times: 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. All workshops include story time, singing, games, crafts and social time.

The cost is regular admission to the museum: adults are $1 and children are $3.

October Wednesday Wigglers workshop themes are Oct. 8 - Turkeys, Oct. 15 - Fall, Oct, 22 - Pumpkins, Oct. 29 - Halloween . In November, the themes are, Transportation, Owls, Colours and Rainbows.

Guests can also visit the museum's three galleries: From the Ground Up, Kitchen Works and The Theatre Space. From the Ground Up explores themes in archeology, paleontology and geology (rocks and minerals). Kitchen Works offers role playing, the recycling game, kitchen chemistry demonstrations and children can even check out composting worms. The Theatre Space encourages imaginative play, where children can put on costumes, get on stage and put on puppet shows.

The Hamilton Children's Museum is located at 1072 Main St. E. From October to March, it is open Wednesday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
