Jasmin Cull signed professional contract in the Netherlands.
Two members of Mohawk's Canadian colleges volleyball bronze medal winning team in 2007-2008 are making their mark on the international scene.
Jasmin Cull has signed a professional contract in the Netherlands and Ian Cameron has been named to the Canadian team for next year's Maccabiah games in Israel.
Cull, the product of Ancaster High School. Inked a one year deal with AB Groningen Bol/networks Lycurgus of the Dutch A-League.
Described as a passer/runner by his new team, the 24-year old Cull played the left side power position with the Mountaineers. Cull's timing couldn't have been better as Australian Jarryd Christensen elected to back out of his contract to concentrate on his studies.
Meanwhile, former Westdale Warrior Cameron, a teammate of Cull last season, made the Canadian team in a recent Toronto tryout camp conducted by Queen's University coach Brenda Willis.
The six-foot four middle, who expects to be back with the Mountaineers this coming season, will take part in the 18th Maccabiah games in 2009 in Israel.
