Steve Woodford and Anna Gigliotti soap up another vehicle at a May 24 car wash in support of the Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade. The car wash, which was held in the parking lot of the Attic Pizza Parlour on King Street East, raised about $500 for the annual event.

M&M Meat Shops across Canada raised $2,050,000 for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, including proceeds from the May 10 barbecue, a draw for a Napoleon barbecue, donations from stars sales and donations each store makes when customers purchase certain products. The Stoney Creek stores on Barton and Mud streets, raised about $2,000 each. Store owner Lew Sears thanks the local MPs and MPPs for their support and the customers for their generosity.
