The Stoney Creek Novice Leafs participated in the city playdowns to determine a city champion. This is the first time Stoney Creek has been invited, as the Hamilton city limits have grown, so have the playdowns. With novice teams from all over Hamilton, Dundas, Stoney Creek, it was a great opportunity for the kids to get some exposure outside the regular house league. The Novice Leafs made it to the city championship game, especially impresssive because this year's novice division also had tyke age kids. More than half the Leafs team was tyke aged. The coaching staff and parents are all proud of all the kids for a great season. Pictured here, first row, Lauren Pace.
